What is this?

Thank you for showing an interest in taking part in the series. Below is an outline of the series structure, rough deadlines and what we can offer for you.

Our duty and offer to you:

• Payment of £100 on completion of the filming day - we know that the payment isn’t sufficient for the amount of work you’re doing, so we are also offering a skills exchange option. For example, a talk or help with visual media in exchange for your participation on our project.
• Support from a sensitive camera crew who believe in and practice our Our Manifesto
• Available support after filming the form of 1-1 check ups
• Full control over how your story is edited and told - nothing will go live without your full consent. Anything that is not used in the live publishing will only be viewed by our team. If we need to share anything new, we will ask for your consent.
• All unpublished content will be stored in an offline hard-drive. Any notes about your story online will be stored in a de-identified online notebook. (This means that your name and other details about you will be removed), unless you tell us otherwise.
• Option to drop out anytime

How it works

1. Review the information below, including Our Manifesto
2. Get in touch with Sophia to schedule a 30 minute call (email [email protected])
3. Together, we will decide the key themes of the topic we would like to talk about over email and calls
4. We will schedule a 4 hour filming half day on - this is likely to be mid-December/ early November
5. Our trusted team will review and edit the content into a video and a podcast. You will be an active part of this process and get to review all versions.
6. Once you’re happy, we will post online.

Video Structure:

About the project: Each episode will be 5-7 minutes long and focus on me interviewing an expert on a specific topic. This will loosely follow the following structure.

1. Introduction to the topic, guest and values (1 minute)
2. “Don’t talk to me about....” - A section on what not to say (4 mins) We will read out the funniest/ most frustrating/ most ridiculous things people have said to us about this topic. This section is supposed to be joyful, for example, we will laugh about the time someone asked us “so why didn’t you tell anyone then?”
