What is this?

In one sentence: Webisode and Podcast series on having more approachable conversations about child sexual abuse (CSA).

Who is this aimed at?

What is our tone?

Seriously Joyful. We are tired of the taboo around childhood sexual abuse and want to use this series to make the topic more approachable to talk about. See our Our Manifesto for more information on our values.

Why is there a need for this?

There isn’t a widely-recognised space where victims and those who want to support them can get frank advice in an informal, friendly way – no trauma porn, no gossip, but just advice on how to have these conversations in an approachable setting. We’ve seen movements for consent, safe sex, and inclusive sex education, but we have not seen anything specific for child sex abuse…yet. It’s hard to build a community around this when people aren’t willing to talk.
